El Grupo M\u00e9xico Transportes (GMXT), un gigante del transporte de carga internacional, ha expresado su firme intenci\u00f3n de invertir hasta US$3.000 millones para operar y modernizar los estrat\u00e9gicos ramales ferroviarios San Mart\u00edn y Belgrano Cargas. El objetivo central es claro y ambicioso: impulsar decisivamente la conexi\u00f3n con los principales proyectos mineros de San Juan, Catamarca y el Noroeste Argentino (NOA), y potenciar as\u00ed el transporte de minerales y otras cargas estrat\u00e9gicas hacia los puertos del pa\u00eds. De hecho, durante un reciente evento de Panorama Minero en Catamarca, directivos del Belgrano Cargas destacaron que la privatizaci\u00f3n de dicho ramal incluye la b\u00fasqueda activa de actores que sirvan al sector minero.<\/p>\n<p>En este sentido, <strong>Alejandro N\u00fa\u00f1ez, presidente de Trenes Argentinos Cargas y Log\u00edstica S.A., y Bruno Agosta, director de AC&amp;A Engineers, Economists &amp; Planners<\/strong>, fueron claros en el Seminario del Litio en Catamarca. Destac\u00f3 adem\u00e1s que el Belgrano Cargas renovado ofrece \u201c<em>un atractivo muy especial, con un mix entre agricultura y miner\u00eda<\/em>\u201d, particularmente en el NOA, donde los proyectos de litio y cobre dependen de una log\u00edstica m\u00e1s competitiva y eficiente.<\/p>\n<h2><b>San Juan y la miner\u00eda cupr\u00edfera: el tren San Mart\u00edn como motor de desarrollo<\/b><\/h2>\n<p>Este anuncio llega en un momento clave y decisivo para la provincia de San Juan, que busca activamente alternativas log\u00edsticas modernas y eficientes que acompa\u00f1en el crecimiento exponencial de su pujante industria minera. Alejandro N\u00fa\u00f1ez ya lo hab\u00eda subrayado en el foro <b>\u00abArgentina Cobre 2025\u00bb<\/b>: \u201c<em>la l\u00ednea San Mart\u00edn tiene un potencial extraordinario para reconectar con grandes emprendimientos mineros en San Juan\u201d<\/em>. <b>Es importante aclarar que, si bien las empresas no deber\u00e1n financiar las obras ferroviarias principales, s\u00ed podr\u00e1n colaborar activamente en el dise\u00f1o y la planificaci\u00f3n log\u00edstica, aportando su <i>expertise<\/i> y eficiencia.<\/b><\/p>\n<h2><b>Grupo M\u00e9xico Transportes: un gigante con credenciales de peso para Argentina<\/b><\/h2>\n<p>GMXT, con m\u00e1s de <b>27 a\u00f1os de exitosa trayectoria<\/b>, forma parte del Grupo M\u00e9xico, uno de los conglomerados m\u00e1s poderosos y diversificados de Am\u00e9rica Latina, con fuertes operaciones en transporte, energ\u00eda, infraestructura y miner\u00eda. <b>Su divisi\u00f3n ferroviaria, <\/b>por ejemplo, opera la red m\u00e1s grande de M\u00e9xico y varias l\u00edneas de carga en Estados Unidos, sumando m\u00e1s de <b>10.500 kil\u00f3metros de v\u00edas<\/b> en 24 estados mexicanos y en Texas-Florida. Las ventas acumuladas alcanzaron los <b>US$13.024 millones<\/b>, un <b>5,7%<\/b> superiores al mismo per\u00edodo del a\u00f1o anterior, impulsadas por un incremento en los vol\u00famenes transportados y la recuperaci\u00f3n de tarifas log\u00edsticas. El EBITDA consolidado trep\u00f3 a <b>US$7.083 millones<\/b>, un <b>9,4%<\/b> m\u00e1s que en <b>2024<\/b>, mientras que la utilidad de operaci\u00f3n se situ\u00f3 en <b>US$5.838 millones<\/b>, confirmando una rentabilidad sostenida.<\/p>\n<p>En materia productiva, la producci\u00f3n de cobre \u2014uno de los pilares del grupo\u2014 alcanz\u00f3 <b>798.394 toneladas<\/b>, lo que representa una leve baja del <b>2,6%<\/b> interanual, atribuida a mantenimientos programados. <b>Con m\u00e1s de 80 a\u00f1os de experiencia<\/b> en construcci\u00f3n de infraestructura, el grupo ha desarrollado m\u00e1s de <b>200 grandes obras<\/b> en 24 estados de M\u00e9xico y m\u00e1s de <b>5 millones de horas-hombre<\/b> en ingenier\u00eda, con s\u00f3lida especializaci\u00f3n en perforaci\u00f3n mar\u00edtima y terrestre (<b>m\u00e1s de 400 pozos completados<\/b> en <b>60 a\u00f1os<\/b> en el segmento energ\u00e9tico).<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\"><b>La propuesta integral de GMXT para la log\u00edstica argentina<\/b><\/h2>\n<p>Para Argentina, GMXT propone no \u00fanicamente participar de los ramales San Mart\u00edn y Belgrano Cargas, sino <strong>aspirar a la operaci\u00f3n integral de l\u00edneas de cargas de largo recorrido en todo el pa\u00eds<\/strong>. Su oferta combina una masiva inversi\u00f3n en infraestructura, modernizaci\u00f3n del material rodante y talleres, y servicios llave en mano para miner\u00eda (incluyendo litio y cobre), energ\u00eda y agro. De concretarse esta propuesta, el impacto econ\u00f3mico para las regiones ser\u00eda \u201cexponencial\u201d, seg\u00fan fuentes cercanas a la empresa, debido a la generaci\u00f3n de carga, empleo, log\u00edstica y exportaciones.<\/p>\n<p>El plan, seg\u00fan fuentes del sector, contempla <strong>que GMXT se haga cargo de la v\u00eda, talleres y locomotoras en los ramales concesionados, optimizando la interconexi\u00f3n con puertos y las cadenas de valor estrat\u00e9gicas<\/strong>. Asimismo, eval\u00faan integrar flujos de exportaci\u00f3n hacia Chile, Bolivia y Paraguay, aprovechando la red existente para cargas estrat\u00e9gicas.<\/p>\n<p>En este punto, GMXT se presenta como \u201cun operador privado que realmente sabe prestar servicios a terceros\u201d, algo novedoso para el mercado ferroviario argentino, donde durante d\u00e9cadas predomin\u00f3 el transporte ferroviario de cargas estatal o concesiones con poca experiencia en log\u00edstica intensiva.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_11339\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-11339\" style=\"width: 987px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-11339 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/idealistic-platinum-hummingbird.187-127-10-185.cpanel.site\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/trenes.webp\" alt=\"Trenes de distintas \u00e9pocas de Argentina.\" width=\"987\" height=\"555\" srcset=\"https:\/\/idealistic-platinum-hummingbird.187-127-10-185.cpanel.site\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/trenes.webp 987w, https:\/\/idealistic-platinum-hummingbird.187-127-10-185.cpanel.site\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/trenes-300x169.webp 300w, https:\/\/idealistic-platinum-hummingbird.187-127-10-185.cpanel.site\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/trenes-768x432.webp 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 987px) 100vw, 987px\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-11339\" class=\"wp-caption-text\"><strong>La evoluci\u00f3n de los trenes en Argentina.<\/strong><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\"><b>Hacia la privatizaci\u00f3n ferroviaria: cronograma y desaf\u00edos<\/b><\/h2>\n<p>La privatizaci\u00f3n del sistema de cargas avanza bajo el <strong>Decreto<\/strong> <b>67\/2025<\/b>,<strong> que establece la desintegraci\u00f3n vertical de la actual empresa estatal Belgrano Cargas y Log\u00edstica S.A.<\/strong> Sus activos se dividir\u00e1n en tres unidades de negocio: <strong>material rodante<\/strong> (a subastar en lotes), <strong>v\u00edas e inmuebles<\/strong> (a concesionar manteniendo la titularidad estatal), y <strong>talleres ferroviarios<\/strong> (tambi\u00e9n bajo concesi\u00f3n).<\/p>\n<p>En paralelo, la <strong>Resoluci\u00f3n<\/strong> <b>1049\/2025<\/b> instruy\u00f3 a la Secretar\u00eda de Transporte a elaborar los pliegos t\u00e9cnicos y coordinar con la Agencia de Transformaci\u00f3n de Empresas P\u00fablicas (ATEP) para ejecutar el proceso en un plazo m\u00e1ximo de <b>12 meses<\/b>.<\/p>\n<p>Seg\u00fan el cronograma oficial, <strong><span style=\"color: #993300;\">las licitaciones se publicar\u00e1n antes de fin de a\u00f1o y la adjudicaci\u00f3n de los ramales, incluidos el Belgrano Cargas y el San Mart\u00edn, est\u00e1 prevista para marzo de 2026<\/span><\/strong>, fecha en la que se concretar\u00e1 la disoluci\u00f3n definitiva de la operadora estatal. La clave ser\u00e1 que los interesados puedan garantizar vol\u00famenes m\u00ednimos de carga, <b>especialmente del sector minero,<\/b> para que la concesi\u00f3n tenga sentido y viabilidad a largo plazo.<\/p>\n<p>Si la oferta de GMXT prospera, Argentina podr\u00eda contar por primera vez con un operador privado internacional de escala, que traiga inversi\u00f3n, experiencia, tecnolog\u00eda y conectividad ferroviaria moderna y\u00a0transformar\u00eda la log\u00edstica de exportaciones del pa\u00eds, en un momento donde el agro, la miner\u00eda y la generaci\u00f3n de energ\u00eda requieren cadenas de suministro m\u00e1s robustas y eficientes para impulsar el desarrollo federal y la generaci\u00f3n de divisas.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Argentina se asoma a una transformaci\u00f3n log\u00edstica sin precedentes.
